The two stage pre-purchase examination means that the entire examination is performed at rest. The horse will not be examined at exercise under saddle which precludes us from assessing the horse’s gait and behaviour at and following exercise, the horse’s wind (respiratory noises e.g. roaring), or any heart problems associated with exercise.
It is important that prior to deciding whether to book and two or five stage vetting you review a detailed description of the all stages of the pre-purchase examination. If you do decide to restrict your examination to a two stage vetting, we will ask you to sign a letter requesting us to do so and acknowledging that you understanding the limits of this procedure.
We’d really appreciate it if you could take a moment to complete our quick survey. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us and helps us continue to improve the service we provide.
