Our clinic has eight stables in paired stabling blocks; including provision for two patients requiring isolation for suspected or confirmed infectious disease. We have even placed CCTV in stables so we can remotely monitor our patients, whilst we attend ambulatory emergency calls. As you would expect we have ensured that we have the ability to provide supportive care of the very poorly patient requiring intravenous fluid therapy and/or nutritional support.
The team of vets and nursing staff work tirelessly to provide the best level of in patient care. Every patient is examined regularly by their case vet throughout their stay, and an individual nursing technician is also assigned to each case so we can get to learn about your horse's needs and address any problems as rapidly as possible, providing the optimal continuity of patient support and communication.
Specific dietary or bedding requirements? No problem. Does your horse need turnout? No problem. Would you like us to have your horse for a prolonged period to facilitate rehabilitation from a specific condition? No problem. We will work with you and any paraprofessionals specific to your needs to ensure you get what you need in terms of veterinary support and care. You are welcome to visit our friendly clinic and spend time with your horse, or to attend for the clinical procedures. We do usually keep visiting hours to between 9 and 10 o'clock each morning and 4-5 o'clock each afternoon; however, we will do our very best to accommodate other times where we can, so chat to us and we will help the best we can.
