Following graduation from the University of Bristol in 2016, Lucy undertook a 20 month internship at Donnington Grove Equine Hospital where she built on her knowledge and skills, and developed an interest in poor performance, especially lameness evaluation.

During her time there she also undertook a research project on caecal dysfunction after standing sedation, and presented the abstract at the Colic Symposium in Kentucky.

In her spare time Lucy enjoys spending time outdoors, riding her chestnut mare, and walking her Labrador, ‘JP’.
